Waking up to ever ringing alarm, crouched shoulders make way to open the bathroom doors , everyday he looks at the mirror with absolute stiffness as if he cannot bear the pain of being himself in this world. He dresses handsomely, grooms his beard and keeps himself tidy enough to be called as decent man. Everyday he wears the same full-sleeved cotton Kurta and white khaki pants , drives the same car for past 20 years and somehow stops at the same spot where he lost himself. Nothing ever changes ,well he adapted himself to stillness just fine.
People would stare at his care-free attitude as they realize their fears bottle up to insecurities leading them to live a life they never wanted .It is rightly said that the most dangerous man is the one who has nothing to lose and no one to lament over. He has always been this way since birth ,least bothered by worldly struggles ,not because that was easy thing to do but because he knew people were choosing to live the hard way.
He lives a life of a modern saint where he earns but possess nothing, desires nothing, neither one can hurt him nor make him happy. He craved only true purpose in life. The narration would giveaway a melancholic idea of Haroon but he was feeling in right emotional state as this was actually a progress since he was diagnosed with a childhood disease which made him have no emotions at all for anyone or anything. Imagine acting a fake orgasm ,absolutely like that he felt everyday ,every moment of his shallow life. His mouth can smile but he felt nothing ,his eyes could produce tears but they would mean nothing .An emotional ignorant is a pitiful state of human but alas Haroon does not feel pity too.
That's what every human would say after reading about Haroon but in this vicious cycle of birth and death, constant brushing of the idea is pushed down the throat that "don't be an emotional baby", Emotional choices are the worst ones", Don't let emotions get better of you" or "Emotional beings are weaklings".
Being emotional or sensitive has always been detrimental in this world, if everyone would be like Haroon wouldn't it be better and wiser choice of living?. Humans are always pointing fingers at each other ,pulling down it fellow companions, instigating overwhelming feelings of jealousy along with constant inner deprivation by status comparisons. Old denim Jeans and regrets are the things that humans never forget but Haroon wears khaki pants so he unknowingly distinguishes himself from discomfort all together.
Maybe Humans can learn from Haroon to accept their emotions ,acknowledge them as their biggest strength rather then going inside the black hole of never-ending sufferings. Infinite emotions can make you go through roller coaster ride but whatever maybe the situation, stating it the way it is makes it ten times easier than just burying it somewhere in the corner .Someone out there thinks you are the luckiest person ever ,someone out there is into the black hole ,someone out there feels nothing and wishes he could. Therefore choosing your own black hole is important as being vacuum inside is as much a black hole as in the universe.
